Show Thistle Residents To Protest Court Action THISTLE Protesting the decision deci-sion of Judge Dallas H. Young of the Fourth district court In citing no cause for action In the Nebo school district - Thistle parents fight regarding the transportation of Thistle fifth and sixth grade students to Spanish Fork, 40 Thistle This-tle residents met at the Thistle school recently and elected a committee com-mittee of four townsmen to meet with Attorney A. H. Christensen for the purpose of starting further proceedings. Elected to serve on the committee commit-tee were Frank Jones, Claude Hill, Lawrence Pace, and Clyde Shepherd. Shep-herd. They are expected to start proceedings pro-ceedings to get a motion for a new trial or to take the case to the supreme su-preme court. A similar case is now being considered in Emery county, coun-ty, the outcome of which will probably prob-ably affect the Thistle problem, c Thistle students were forced to start school at Spanish Fork Monday Mon-day morning. |
