Show ; Coming Events ALPHA BETA CLUB Members of the Alpha Beta club will conduct their meeting this week, Friday afternoon, at the home of Mrs. G. Lowry Anderson instead of at the home of Mrs. Wilford Biesinger as was previously previous-ly scheduled. The meeting is scheduled sched-uled at the usual time, 4 p.m., and Mrs. F. C. Packard will present pre-sent the program. Brookside Dance ' An adult dance is being sponsored spon-sored by the Brookside School PTA Saturday evening at 9 p.m., as a benefit to secure playground eqiup-ment eqiup-ment and the public is invited. A demonstration of square and other dancing will be given during the forepart of the evening. Tickets are available from PTA members and officers. Springville Federated Music Club Meeting The Springville Federated Music club will meet with Mrs. LeRoy Erickson Friday January 20, at 7:30 p.m. Miss Alzada Wilmott will be in charge of the program and an invitation is extended to all members to attend. Stake M Men ,- Gleaner Sleigh Kide Party The Third-Ninth ward M Men and Gleaners are sponsoring a sleigh riding party Thursday evening. eve-ning. If there is no snow, a dance will be held at the Third ward beginning be-ginning at 8 p.m., and refreshments refresh-ments will be served at the close of the entertainment. Mrs. Marjorie Davis will entertain enter-tain at her home for members of the Fidelity club next Thursday evening, January 26, at 8 o'clock. All members are invited. S. T. Club Members of the S. T. Club will be entertained at the home of Mrs. Lee Sumsion next Thursday evening, January 26, at 7:30 p.m., the party was previously planned at the home of Mrs. Gwen Baxter. Bax-ter. Missionary Society Members of the Missionary Society So-ciety of the local Community Presbyterian Pres-byterian church will meet at the home of Mrs. Lorraine Beach next Thursday evening, January 26, at 8 p.m. Officers will be elected and other business transacted. Mrs. Beach has served as president the past year. Home Culture Club Home Culture club members will meet 1 at the home of Mrs. Helen Anderson Friday afternoon, January Janu-ary 20 at 3 p.m. Mrs. Arthur Rich will have charge of the program and has secured Dr. Richard Poll of the BYU, who will speak on The Atlantic Pact. |
