Show i Springville Clubs To Assist With Tea For Officer The Springville Federated Music club and the Musettes Choral group are assisting the Federated Music Club of Provo and vicinity in arranging a tea for Mrs. Ronald Ron-ald A. Dougan of Beloit, Wis., vice-president of the National Federation Fed-eration of Music Clubs and chairman chair-man of the biennial convention of the federation to be held in the spring of 1951. The tea is to be held Sunday, January 22, between 2 p.m., and 4 p.m., at the banquet room of the Joseph Smith building, with Mrs. Victor J. Bird of Provo, as general chairman. Serving as reception committee will be national and state music club officers and civic and social leaders of the area will be invited as special guests. The Springville clubs are assisting assist-ing the refreshments and serving committees. Mrs. Dougan arrived this week for a series of receptions to be held in major cities of Utah designed de-signed to stimulate interest in the biennial event. |
