Show Canyon Party Marks Birthday Members of the J. A. Miller family fam-ily enjoyed a canyon supper on Monday evening in celebration of Richard's birthday. At, the canyon get-together were: Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Miller, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Miller and family fam-ily of American Fork; Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Weight and family, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Miller of Provo; Miss Marjorie Miller. The TJintah canyon in the Uintah mountains north of Vernal holds a soft spot in the hearts of several Springville fishermen, but they will not forget the 20-mile horseback horse-back ride into the fish country, known as Kidney Lakes. Paul Hay-mond, Hay-mond, Dr. C. W. Judd, Marvin Warren, Vernon Cook, Phil Hay-mond Hay-mond of Springville; Ferris Warren War-ren of Mapleton; Dr. Creed Brim-hall. Brim-hall. Provo; Dr. Ed. Weise of Spanish Span-ish Fork and Richard Dehaven of Salt Lake City returned home this week tired but happy as each had had all the fish he could eat and brought home a limit catch. They report a fine time during their 5-day stay. Capt. and Mrs. Wayne K. Miller and their three children have been visiting relatives the John R. Kindreds, Kin-dreds, the Fred Knidreds and the Floyd McPhersons the past week coming from St. Joseph, Mo. Wayne has been stationed at that city the past two years and shortly after the first of the year he is scheduled to go to Korea. His family will remain in Missouri until un-til after he has been n Korea a year and then they plan to join him in Japan. A highlight of their trip to Utah was a visit through the Salt Lake temple |
