Binks accompanied by Mr. and Mrs Cornell Cor-nell Kinks of Payson drove to Salt Lake City Saturday morning where they were joined by their son Blair and Miss Connie Parkinson Park-inson and her mother, Mrs. Kathleen Kath-leen Parkinson and young sister Wendy. Together they had a delightful de-lightful trip to Yellowstone Park. Wendy accompanied Mr. and Mrs Binks homo and will spend a week with them. , Among those who attended the "Uncle" John Whiting funeral at Charleston Friday, were Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Whiting, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting, Mayor and Mrs. Elmer W. Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Free-man Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Hol-ley Hol-ley and Mrs. Mary Bird. . The Whiting reunion was held Saturday at Balsam Park. Several hundred relatives and friends attended. at-tended. The Whiting families of Mapleton were well represented. Mrs. May Smith of Provo and Mrs. Nida Boswell of Fontana, California were Sunday guests of their sister and brother-in-law, Mayor and Mrs. Elmer W. Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Orin Beck of Mesa, Arizona have been visitors at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. L. A. Neil-son Neil-son and Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting. Whit-ing. Mrs. L. A. Nielson has returned to her home in Mapleton after spending three weeks visiting with relatives and friends in the San Luis Valley of Colorado. On her return trip she visited with a sister sis-ter at Glenwood Springs, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Mark Whiting, (lone) of Las Vegas, Nevada were visitors at the L. A. Nielson home last week end. Dr. and Mrs. Quinn Whiting and family of Price' spent a day at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Whiting. Dr. Whiting Whit-ing also attended a Medical meeting meet-ing in Salt Lake City. Other guests at the Bert Whiting Whit-ing home during the week were Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCook of Tempe, Arizona. Mr. Duane Stanworth of Delta spent Monday night at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Neil Whiting.' Mr. Walter Hurst and his daughters, Mrs.. Eunice Dunyon and Mrs. Arnold Wright and her daughter Joyce of Ogden were guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. Lavel Bird. They came especially to attend at-tend the Mack Whitney funeral. |
