Show Mr. and Mrs. Reed Johnson of Log-an visited Thursday of last week with Mr. and Mrs. Howard Allan, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Allan and Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Allan, brothers and sisters-in-law of Mrs. Allan and also with Mr. Johnson's sister; Mrs.- LaCelle Sumsion and husband in Springrville. The Misses Annette Hazel and Nancy Evans have returned to their home after a month's vacation vaca-tion with relatives and friends in California. They stopped in Las Vegas for a while and then went on to Bakersfield, Calif., and to Stockton and Visalia. At Stockton, Stock-ton, they were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Kay Cranmer (Louise Evans) and family. The Cranmers returned return-ed to Springville with the girls and are spending two weeks here. On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Hazel Ha-zel entertained at a family get-together for the visitors and about 22 family members enjoyed the time with visiting and a family dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Dale Finley and three sons of Portland, Oreg., have returned to their home following a visit with relatives and friends in Springville. Dale, a son of John Finley, former resident of Springville, Spring-ville, was in Ogden on reserve duty at the supply depot most of the time and his wife Mildred and boys stayed at the home of aunts, May and Bessie Finley and visited other relatives. On Sunday, while they were here, the Finley family were together at a reunion in the con-yon con-yon with 46 family members in attendance. On their return home the Finleys toured the canyons of southern Utah. While they were in Springville, Dales sister, Mrs. Glenna F. Witte in company with a friend from the Northwest, stopped stop-ped briefly in Springville enroute for a vacation trip to Mexico. |
