Show Former Resident Takes Over Deer Creek Management B. Harold Mendenhall, well known Lehi rancher, a former, resident resi-dent of Springville, son of Mr. and Mrs. Berne Mendenhall now of Salt Lake City, has been appointed as manager of the Deer Creek project. pro-ject. He was cnosen at the Feb. 13 meeting of the Provo River Water Users. Until the present time the project pro-ject has been handled by the U. S. Bureau of Reclamation. Under Mr. Mendenhall's jurisdiction juris-diction will come the Duchesne Tunnel, Deer Creak Reservoir, Provo River and all canals, etc., owned by Provo River Water Users Association. Mr. Mendenhall received his education ed-ucation at Brigham Young University. Uni-versity. For the past ten years he has been operating his own ranch near Lehi. Before coming here he was the buyer for the commissary of Winston Haglund, Missouri Valley Val-ley and Sallit, the contractors who built the Clearfield Naval Supply Depot. This commissary fed 2500 men per day. Mr. Mendenhall took over his new position on Feb. 20. He plans to continue to live in Lehi and manage his ranch there. |
