Weight, chief of police and a member of the sponsoring club; Gk-n W. Sumsion. Kiwanis president; Victor Frandsen. chairman of the club Boys and Girls committee; com-mittee; Paul K. Walker, high school principal; Shirley Allen, George Pherson, class driver-training instructors; Wesley Maag, instructor with the car, and G. Lowry Anderson, furnishing the car. 200 Students Enrolled for SHS Driver-Trainer Course Approximately 200 high school students enrolled this week for the fifth annual driver training course which each year has become more popular. All of the boys and girls nave had previous book instruction and they w-ill now get actual experience learning to drive a car furnished again this year through the courtesy of G. Lowry Anderson. Each student will get several turns between now and the time the course ends with the close -i,t m.iiwi Mor C6. - - " - --- The program is under direction of the Springville Kiwanis club with the cooperation of Springville city and the high school. When a boy or girl successfully completes the outlined program, they are considered eligible to drive, with full knowledge of all traffic regulations regu-lations and rules governing highway high-way travel. |
