Show Lady Bowlers Set Opening Sept. 7; Elect Hew Officers The Ladies bowling association met last Thursday evening at the city park to discuss problems concerning con-cerning rules and regulations of the game in preparation for the coming season which opens Sept. 7. Louise Weight, recently elected president of the group was in charge of the meeting. She is asking ask-ing that any person interested in bowling contact her or leave their name at the bowling alley as new members are needed to fill in vacancies on the various teams for the season's schedule. New officers for the season besides be-sides Mrs. Weight are Anna Ost-lund, Ost-lund, vice-president; Gertie Ruff, secretary; Irene Sumsion, treasurer treasur-er and Norma Mock, Sgt. at Arms. Retiring officers were Lucille Crandall, president; Delia Smith, yice-president; Klell Child, secretary, sec-retary, Gertie Ruff, treas.. and Irene Sumsion Sgt. at Arms. Committees were set up with the first named acting as chairman: Schedule committee Minnie Warner, War-ner, Edna Hansen, Klell Child; Rules Bobby Stillion, Glenita Ol-lerton, Ol-lerton, Annie Oakley; Prize Phyllis Humphrey, Theda Child and Harriet Miner. |
