Show Child Of Local People Drowned; Services Held Here Funeral services for the 20-months-old son of Oran Kay and Ila Jean Johnson Rasmussen of Springville, who was drowned in an outlet of Henry's Lake dam in Fremont county, Idaho, last Thurs- UdJI, WCiG I.U11U lj t. v wv . . Wheeler Mortuary Saturday afternoon. after-noon. The ministry of Jehovah's Witnesses, were in charge. Burial was in the Provo City Burial Park. The child had been in the water for only a few minutes, when found by the father. It was believed he had followed his father to the bridge from the yard where he was playing when last seen. The family was spending the summer in Idaho, where Mr. Rasmussen Ras-mussen had been working on their saw mill and he was assisting with the building of a bridge to the saw mill when the accident happened. A physician and a trained nurse, who were at nearby Sunset Lodge on the Yellowstone highway were summoned and tried in vain for 45 minutes, to revive the child. A resuscitator was also brought from St. Anthony by the firemen. Daniel Lee Rasmussen was born November 10, 1948 in Payson Surviving in addition to the parents, par-ents, are two brothers, John Kay and Oran Kelly Rasmussen and the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oran K. R.asmussen and Mrs. Mer-line Mer-line Johnson 'of Springville; great grandparents Mr. and Mrs. L. W. Hicks, Springville. |
