Show Home Defense Talk Given at Club Meet Mrs. E. T. Crandall, Springville Civil Defense chairman, gave an informative talk on "The Home in Civil Defense" at the Mothers Study club meeting on Friday evening eve-ning of last week at the home of Mrs. Zelma Beardall. Mrs. Crandall explained the duties du-ties of the housewife and mother in case of an air-attack and listed the items to have on hand in an emergency. She told of the danger to the home should this country be attacked and she gave the several sev-eral things to do when a warning signal is given. The evening program also included in-cluded accordian selections by Robert Ro-bert Curtis. Mrs. Hattie Williams, club vice president, was in charge of the meeting which was concluded with refreshments. |
