Finch (Neva Deal) returned to her home in Hayward, California, Sunday after spending a month with her sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Boyer in Springville. Mrs. Finch was the motif for several parties and social gatherings during dur-ing her stay and also in company with Mr. and Mrs. Boyer visited a sister and husband in St. George and toured the canyons in Southern South-ern Utah. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Mason of this city and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Simmons Sim-mons of Provo were among those who attended a banquet in Salt Lake City Sunday held in connecJ tion with the labor meeting at the Hotel Newhouse. Mr. Mason and Mr. Simmons attended as delegates from the Brotherhood of Maintenance Mainten-ance of Way Labor Union 1463. Approximately 600 delegates and wives attended. Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Groesbeck and son Peter visited over the past weekend in Logan with Mrs. Groesbeck's father, Ernest Cowley Cow-ley and family. They attended the AC-Utah football game Saturday Sat-urday evening. The week before, Mr. and Mrs. Groesbeck and Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Dalton took a trip to Moab stopping also at Castle Valley and Dead Horse Point. Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Tingey and Mr. and Mrs. Garth Tingey were in Randolph recently to attend the wedding of their nephew. The Ray Lovells visited over the weekend with Mrs. Lovell's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Lindsay at Taylorsville. |
