Show Wm. Dawson To Speak at Brunch Sat. State, county and local candidates candi-dates on the Republican ticket will be in attendance at the brunch planned by the Springville Republican Republi-can Ladies Club, Saturday at 11 a.m., at Kapps Melody Inn. Each candidate will be given a short time to speak and the meeting will close promptly at 12:30 p.m. William A. Dawson, candidate for the U. S. House of Representatives, Representa-tives, will be the principal guest speaker at the brunch and each of the other candidates on the ticket including Lamont F. Toronto, Toron-to, candidate for Secretary of State; E. R. Callister, candidate for attorney general; Sherman J. Preece. candidate for state auditor; audi-tor; Sid Lambourne, candidate for state treasurer; also Phillip Chris-tensem, Chris-tensem, candidate for 4th dist. attorney; at-torney; Verl G. Dixon, candidate for 4-year county commissioner, Sterling Jones, candidate for 2-year 2-year county 'commissioner and Harrison ConoveT, candidate for representative from the Fourth district, will be given 2 minutes for an introduction and speech. Tickets are available from club officers, Mrs. Harrison Conover, Mrs. Paul Thorn, Mrs. Kenneth Condie, and other members of the club, Mrs. Robert Parker, Mrs. E. F. Perham, Mrs. Harris Loughnan, Mrs. Max Alleman, Mrs. Crede j Brimhall, Mrs. Catherine Wills. |
