Show Indian Pow-Wow Is Theme of 8thWard Outing Successful and entertaining was the Eighth ward outing held last week in the form of an Indian Pow-Wow tin the canyon. Everyone brought their blankets and many dressed as Indians. To Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Miner went the prize for the best dressed Indians. In-dians. They brought their tent and entered into entertainment with enthusiasm. Mr. and Mrs. George Smih were the oldest couple present pres-ent and Baby Boyce, whose parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Boyce, was the youngest present. Edward Boyer acted as master of ceremonies and lighted the big bon-fire around which a fine program pro-gram was given followed by fireworks fire-works and visiting. , In the late afternoon, members of the ward enjoyed horse-shoe pitching, baseball and other sports followed by supper. Approximately 200 people were in attendance. |
