Prince, nee Beth Perry Mid-Summer Temple Rifes Unite Miss Beth Perry and Donald Prince An abundance of vari-colorecl gladioli decorated the Mapleton LDS Ward where a bridal shower for Mrs. Donald G. Prince was given Thursday evening. The bride, formerlv Beth Perrv is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marian Perry of Mapleton. The bridegroom's parents par-ents are Mr. and Mrs. John Price of Price. The new Mrs. Prince was lovely in a white nylon afternoon gown with long sleeves and a small collar. col-lar. She wore a corsage of pink gladioli. The following program was enjoyed en-joyed by a large group of friends: Lilly Banks acted as master of ceremonies introducing a vocal solo by Bonnie Beardall; piano solo, Patricia Perry; reading by June Newman; two dance numbers by Lynda Finch, Lynda. Shelton, Grace Ann Jensen, Maurine Thomas, Judy Keele and Carolyn Hansen; piano solo, Alice Arnett; vocal duet, Ann Marie Fry and Doreen Scouten; acrobat stunts, Lynda Kay Bench; reading, Helen Ash; marimba solo, Arlene Despain and a toast to the bride by Bertha Davidson. The grift room was in charge of Clara Skiener and Venita Mackley while Carol Prince assisted with registration of guests. Serving refreshments were, Barbara Bar-bara Hall, Arlean Hall, Doris Ann Bird, Georgene Gividen, Aldous Cazair, Leah Reynolds, and Laura Cutler. A ceremony performed July 23 at the Manti LDS temple united the couple. The bride is a graduate gradu-ate of the Brigham Young University. Univer-sity. She taught school last year in Spanish Fork. The bridegroom is a student at the University of Utah. After honeymooning in Southern Utah they will make their home in Salt Lake City. |
