Show $ound-'n-lbout 'ZJown Sirs. Janet Crandall in company with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Crandall of Provo, have returned from. Los Angeles, Calif., where they attended attend-ed the funeral services for Mrs. Priscilla Gudmundsen Rice, 32, a former resident of Springville who died on the coast of a heart ailment. ail-ment. The Crandalls spent a short time with Mr. Rice and the two daughters and also visited Mr. and Mrs. Sterling Crandall and family and other relatives and friends in Las Vegas, Nevada. i Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Schreiver of Brookside returned Sunday from an enjoyable vacation trip to Jackson, Wyo. They were gone five days. Mr. and Mrs Abe Ullock and their daughter, Emma Ullock of Salt Lake City, are back from California where they went especially es-pecially to attend the funeral services ser-vices for Mr. Ullock's brother-in-law, Charles Norton in Long Beach. They also visited other relatives, rel-atives, Mrs. Margaret Hawkins, a sister of Mr. Ullock at Long Beach and also Mrs. Ullock's brottier and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Glendon Whitmore at Downey, Down-ey, California. Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Crandall had as their guests recently, Mr. Crandall's sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs! Max Robinson and children of Cedar City. Miss Leola Harrington and Miss Marjorie Houtz in company with a friend, Miss Angela Papa of Washington, D. C, are leaving Monday on a vacation trip which will take them to Carlsbad Caverns Cav-erns and into Old Mexico. They expect to be gone about 14 days. , Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Bird accompanied accom-panied by their daughter, Mrs. Louse Pierce, returned last Thursday Thurs-day from an enjoyable vacation trip to California. They visited their, daughter and sister and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O'Callahan (Carma Bird) in San Diego and also with a sister and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Har-old Greder and family in Oxford, Calif. Louise visited friends in Van ' Nuyes and they also toured the coast as far north as San Francisco. Fran-cisco. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Hatch had as their guests the past week, their daughter, Mrs. Lula Campbell Camp-bell and children, Jimmie and Ar- ' Lene from Rupert, Idaho. During their visit here, they all went to Vernal to visit Mr. and Mrs. Darrell Dar-rell Hatch and their new baby j daughter. Mr. and Mrs. Hatch took Lula and her children back to Rupert and spent the week end there. They were accompanied by Mrs. Allie Bunker who visited her daughter and family in Rupert. |
