Show Heads C. of C. . . t v ' ; E. S. Groesbeck Chamber Elects E. S. Groesbeck President For '54 E. S. Groesbeck, owner and man- ager of Monty's Cafe, was elected . president of the Springville Cham- ' ber of Commerce, a count of the ballots Tuesday revealed. He will succeed George Bird. Elected to work with the new-head, new-head, is Mays Anderson, vice-president; Lamar Holley, Richard (Dicki) Sumsion, Maurice Bird, Lee Miner and Dave Thomas, members of the board of directors. Holdover directors are: Finley Roylance, A. L. Thorpe. Perry Goodliffe and Murray Peay. Retiring besides Mr. Bird, are Grant Nielson, S. E. Price, Mays Anderson, Reed Averett, Taylor Burt, J. Mclvin Duke and E. S. Groesbeck. , A joint meeting of the board of directors and newly elected officers offi-cers will be conducted on Tuesday, December 8, at -Chicken Roost, announces an-nounces Manager J. A. Miller. New oficers will be installed at the annual an-nual dinner meeting planned for January 24, at Kapps Melody Inn. The election committee was comprised com-prised of Sterling E. Price, Arvil Bird and Wm. J. Phillips. |
