Show Police Varns On Use of BB Guns Police Chief H. M. Weight this week issued a warning to all local business houses in regard to the shoplifting which is going on in Springville as well as in other parts of the county. Chief Weight also warned on the use of BB guns by boys of the community, com-munity, stating that numerous complaints have been received from citizens whose windows have been the target for BB shots. If boys persist in using the BB guns in the city, an ordinance will of necessity be passed prohibiting the use of the guns in the city limits. Another case in which boys between be-tween the ages of nine and eleven were implicated, was the theft of money and small items from the Ruff Garage. These boys have been apprehended by local police officers offi-cers and all have owned up to entering en-tering the place of business at nisrht. |
