Show Springville Kiwanis Represented At Officers School In Pocatello Professor Reed Bradford of the social science department of the B. Y. U., will be the speaker in Kiwanis club meeting;, Friday evenine;, announces President H. M. Weight. The: meeting is being held Friday, due to the Thanksgiving holiday, at the regular time 7 p.m., at Chicken Chick-en Roost. Toastmaster for the evening is R. W. Bradford. Attend School With seven members attending the Springville club was well represented rep-resented at the Kiwanis officers training school conducted in Pocatello, Poca-tello, Ida., Saturday and Sunday, announces Clarence L. ensen, secretary. sec-retary. Only three other clubs in the Utah-Idaho district had a larger lar-ger representation than did Springville. Attending from Springville were president-elect Frank Cranmer, Clarence L. Jensen, Glen Coffman, Perry Goodliffe, Jay Bingham, Le-R.oy Le-R.oy Tingey and Arthur Condie. Several instructive talks were given during the two days on the Kiwanis theme, "Freedom Is Not Free," adopted for 1951. Dr. Joseph R. Marshall, governor-elect of Twin Falls, Ida. installed in-stalled Saturday evening, directed the conference. A talk by A. E. Buck, international trustee from Albequerque, N. M. was a highlight high-light of the meetings as was the address by Paul W.
