Show Legion Auxiliary Holds Guest Day libers of Legion Alalia Alal-ia rv and their guests were enter aSed adt Memorial Hall Wednesday Wednes-day evening of last week at the annual Mother's Day program and all enioyed a review of the book, "paPa Married a Mormon," given bv Mrs. Mary Schreiver. Appropriate vocal selecttms were given by Mrs. Frances Clark accompanied by Mrs. Marjorie B President Lois J. Child introduced intro-duced Mrs. Florence Roylance as program chairman for the evening even-ing Poppies were distributed by r-.hnirma.Ti Mabel Brown. Each of Chairman maoei the guests were presented with a pretty handkerchief in a folder on which was engraved American Legion Le-gion Auxiliary. . Refreshments were served m conclusion to approximately 70 members and guests by hostesses: Julia Sumsion, Emma Alleman, Frone Thorn, Emma Long, Charlotte Char-lotte Merritt, Floss Phillips, Aileen Price, Vilate Reynolds, Kate Hol-ley, Hol-ley, Delia Clark. Next meeting of the unit will be on Wednesday May 23, when offit cers will be elected and poppy poster pos-ter winners awarded. ' |
