MMi James Martin, Mar-tin, superintendent of mails at the Lorain postoffice, lives by the philosophy, "records are made to be broken." In the 34 years he has been employed at the postoffice, Martin Mar-tin has never been late for work, had never laid off a day because of sickness. Never once have any of the. five postmasters he has worked under had to call Martin "on Ithe carpet" or given him any kind of demerit. He has attended mass at St. Mary's parish church for more than 1,500 Sundays without once being late to service. Pic estimates he has turned off the alarm clock more than 10,000 times without ever "turning over lor another five minutes. A member of the Knights of Columbus here, Martin has missed only one semi-monthly meeting at the time one of his children died. He has never been delinquent in paying taxes or water, light and gas bills. Martin joined a cribbage club 23 years ago his peg's been in the board at every meeting since that time.
