AND SHOP MEN TO MEET IN SPRINGVILLE .yocationa-1 -agricuitiit---fri.r shop instructors of the central district, comprising high schools from Nephi on the south to American Fork on the north, met here with President W. H. Anderson of the district organization organi-zation last Saturday afternoon, to discuss plans and a program of work for the coming school year. E. B. Garrett of Lehi told of ways and means by which the agriculture and shop teachers teach-ers might cooperate in facilitating facilitat-ing an agricultural program. Joseph Skinner of Spanish Fork, gave a report on the summer conference at Logan. Problems confronting the instructors in various towns were discussed in an open forum with the following participating: James M. Anderson, Ander-son, Nephi; E. H. Cutler, Pay- son; W. H. Partington and Joseph Jos-eph Skinner, Spanish Fork; La Veil Gamette, Nephi; Charles Davies, Ljncoln, Provo; Joseph. Day, Pleasant Grove; E. B. Barrett, Bar-rett, Lehi; A. E. Jacobsen and President Anderson, Springville. It is planned to hold four similar sim-ilar meetings during the year, President Anderson said, with Mark Nichols, the new state director di-rector of vocational agriculture, in attendance to give special instruction. At the close of the i meeting lunch was served by Mrs. Anderson. |
