Show TESS PACKARD GETS STATE APPOINTMENT A singular honor which carries with it also much responsibility came to Tess C. Packard of this city this week, with her appointment appoint-ment as state dance and dramatic drama-tic director. The appointment was confirmed by Governor Henry H. Blood after being made by the federal government. Her new position will take her to all parts of the state with headquarters generally in Salt Lake City. She will be responsible respon-sible for all plans and general supervision of activities in these two phases of recreation. During the summer, Mrs. Packard Pack-ard has had charge of work along the same lines in Provo, and her recent appointment to the state position was made after observ-vation observ-vation of her teaching in that citv. Her qualifications for the position posi-tion come after years of studv and experience, together with recommendations from those with whom she has worked.
