Show Former Kaiser Blamed For Beer Cellar Blast Plot NEW YORK, Nov. 14 (U.R) The New York Daily News in a dispatch from Brussels, Belgium, said today it was reported re-ported that ihe Gernvin Gestapo believed former Kaiser Vi. helm II "was the director of last week's beer cellar explosion at Munich." The dispatch said the reports, "none of which could b(! confirmed, and some of which seemed improbable," told of an anti-monarchist purge" in which "scores of palaces and mansions had been raided." The reports also told "of the arrest of five princes and nine old army generals, and the peremptory execution 0f Prince Frederick Wilhelm, international playboy, and the Kaiser's favorite grandson," the dispatch added. In Berlin, an authorized source said that foreign rumors of Nazi action against the family of the former Kaiser were ridiculous. |
