Show SCHOLARSHIP AWARD MADE TO J.BOYD PAGE J. Boyd Page, son of Mrs. Clara Page of this city, has been awarded award-ed a graduation assistant scholarship scholar-ship in soil chemistry at the University Uni-versity of Missouri, it Was announced an-nounced recently. The appointment appoint-ment begins September 1. Mr. Page will probably leave August 24 for his new work. While at the university he will do research work on chemical phases of the pasture soils of Missouri. Mr. Page, who was one among three young men in his department to receive scholarships, graduated with high honors from the Pay-son Pay-son high school in 1932, received is degree from the Brigham Young university, Provo this spring. He is associated as an officer in the Viking social unit of the B. Y. -U. and also the "Y" Chemistry association." asso-ciation." -;. While attending the latter school, he assisted in the laboratory labora-tory sections of the general chemistry, chem-istry, general bacteriology and organic analysis. |
