Show "Y" STUDENTS DO SKETCHES OF MORMON TRAIL Part of the credit for the greatest great-est collection of paintings and photographs ever made along the Old Mormon Trail goes to Ethel Strauser of Springville. She was a member of the party, of IS artists art-ists who recently completed six weeks' work, sketching and photographing photo-graphing beautiful and historic spots between Salt Lake and Nau-voo, Nau-voo, 111., along the route followed by the Mormon pioneers. Although Professor Larsen gave instruction to the group he found time to do much sketching himself. He will exhibit a number num-ber of his paintings. Mrs. Larsen accompanied him and was given the title of historian histor-ian for her diligence in collecting facts of historical value. Onothcr member of the party was George Strebel, Provo, who was official photographer. He is now at work developing and printing print-ing hundreds of pictures which are expected to have value to the painters as well as to the historical histori-cal collection of the Heber J. Grant library and other L. D S Church collections. , The other members of the party were: W. Biggs, Phoenix, Ariz.; Euray Anderson, Salt Lake City; Merla Robinson, Coalville; Viola Hale Curtis, Salt Lake City; Ralph Huntsman, Bunkerville, Nev.; Lorin Covington, Hurricane; Mrs. H. E. Carmack, Winslow, Ariz.; Thera Lou Olsen, Manti; Anna r' Williams, Ogden; Mary Jensen Brigham City; Georgiana Johnson John-son Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Alton Peterson, Jensen.
