Show Winners At Springville Dairy Show SPRINGVILLE - T!ie first Springville dairy slock show held here Friday, exceeded expectations of show managers both in the number of entries and in the qaulity of animals exhibited. More than a hundred fine dairy stock from Springville' and surrounding communities were on display, during- the day. Many of the entries were taken to Spanish Fork Saturday Sat-urday morning- to be exhibited in the State Junior Livestock show. A purebrea Jersey cow owned by Kenneth Olsen was judged grand chiimpion of the entire show. Heber Houtz entered the junior champion and grand champion cham-pion in the registered Jersey, IS months to 2 years division. Allen Thomas of Benjamin received champion award with his registered register-ed Jersey under one year and Lewis Child entered the senior champion Jersey bull, 2 to 3 years division. In the Holstein group, William H. Nielson of Palmyra won grand champion and senior champion with a registered cow in the 4-year and over division. The junior and grand champion sire, 8 months old was also entered by Mr. Niel-son Niel-son of Palmyra. Allen Thomas of Benjamin received junior champion cham-pion with his registered Jersey under one year.
