Show STOCK SHOW CLOSES WITH AUCTION SALE Banquet Session Attended Attend-ed By 300 Persons Monday Night SPANISH FORK Corrals were benig- emptied, animals loaded, and decorations torn down here this afternoon, for the Fifteenth Annual Junior Livestock show is over. Final event on the four-day program was the auction sale of prize-winning animals held today, to-day, announced Raleigh Williams, manager of the show. However, the climax of the festival fes-tival came Monday night when 300 stockmen, businessmen, members of the Utah County Bankers' association, asso-ciation, Kiwanis club, junior chamber cham-ber of commerce, and chamber of commerce members and partners attended the banquet in the junior high school building. Governor Henry H. Blood was not present, but sent his representative repre-sentative to extend greetings and good wishes to the show. Awards were made to the youthful exhibitors, exhibit-ors, and George H. Lowe of Og-den, Og-den, Utah-daho district Kiwanis governor, principal speaker of the evening, complimented 4-H club and Future Farmer exhibitors and others who participated in the show-. Awards were given Max Creer for his entry in the fat baby beef division; Leland Eastman for the champion fat lamb, and Howard Bradford, who showed the champion cham-pion fat hog. The afternoon parade and horse-pulling horse-pulling contests also featured Monday's Mon-day's program. Owners of winning win-ning teams in the horse-pulling contests: Lightweight Joe Curtis, Aurora, Auro-ra, first; A. Draayer, second; Kay Draayer, third; and Arch Peterson, fourth. Middleweights Elton Diggs, Syracuse, first; Emmett Durfey, Aurora, second; W. W. McConkie, Roosevelt, third; and Jimmy Nira, of Roy, fourth. Heavywefghts John Draayer, Clintoin, first; Leo Thalman, Sigurd, Sig-urd, second; David Larsen, Spanish Span-ish Fork, third; and Clyde Ritchie, Charleston, fourth. , First prizes were $35, second S25, and third $15. Fourth place winners were given merchandise. H. Grant Ivins, professor of animal husbandry at Brigham Young university, judged horses during the morning. Awards were made as follows: Shires, David S.
