Show EARLY PIONEER SERVICES HELD Well attended funeral services were conducted in the Fourth ward chapel Wednesday afternoon, for Mrs. Sarah Sophronia Perry Hall, 77, widow of Joseph H. Hall of this city, who died late Monday afternoon, following a three-months' three-months' illness, at the family residence, resi-dence, 847 East Second South street. Burial was in the City cemetery under direction of A. Y. Wheeler mortuary. Mrs. Hall was born at Perry, Utah. November IS, 185!), a daughter daugh-ter of Henry E. and Lydia S. Thorn Perry, early Utah pioneers. She came to Springville with her parents in 1866, and had lived here since. She was a faithful member of the L. D, S. church. She was married to Mr. Hall, November 15, 1878. Her husband died in October 1916. She was the mother of eleven children, seven of whom survive as follows: Mrs. Edna Wheeler, Mrs. Maggie Wood, Pleanor, Elwood, Owen, Clifton and Thcron S. Hall, all of Springville; Spring-ville; 16 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; eight half-brothci'H and sisters: Will Hall, Mannan, Idaho; Mrs. Abbie Burt. Lorenzo. Idaho; Mrs. Ethel Houtz, Indian-ola; Indian-ola; Mrs. Eunice Thorn, Mrs. Fred J. Holden, Brigham City; Mrs. Judd May, Lovell, Wyo.; Mrs, Mel-vina Mel-vina Broadhead. Salt Lake City; Heber Perry, Perry, Utah. j |
