Show SCOUTS HOLD MONTHLY MEET A discussion of methods by which more interest in scout work in this district, featured a meeting meet-ing of scouts and scouters at the seminary building, Saturday night. S. L. Mendenhall Sr., was in charge. Other officials present were Chairman Hilton A. Robertson Robert-son find Secretary Charles Boyer. - RoJl call showing 21 scouters and scouts in attendance, also indicated indi-cated the following activities being be-ing carried on by the various troops: First ward troop, one new scout; extermination of mice, as a project; one troop activity. Second Sec-ond ward troop, three new scouts; one troop committee meeting; one good turn and one troop activity. Third ward troop, five new scouts; one troop committee meeting; meet-ing; one award and one troop activity. Fourth ward troop, two new scouts; five awards; three in uniforms; one good turn; one hike. Mapleton troop, three new scouts; one troop committee meeting; one good turn; one uniform and one project of selling tuherculosis seals. At the n-'eting it was reported that only one third of the scouts in the district, eligible to participate partici-pate in the work, had registered. The invocation was offered by John S. Boyer and the benediction by J. F. Wingate. |
