Show Mo! s Dance to Sprir.ffville Library Draw Large Crowd; Many Valuable Gifts . . One of the largest and most interesting events of the season is scheduled to take place in the form of a dance Thursday evening, eve-ning, December 24. when the new Ford V-S, in addition to numerous other valuable prizes will be given away. The dance, to be held at Memorial hall, is the Fourth in a series of similar entertainments sponsored by the business and professional men of the community, commu-nity, in an effort to encourage more home trade and to acquaint the people of the cily with the advantages of trading at home. Each of the past dances has been a success socially as large and enthusiastic en-thusiastic crowds of both young and old have attended. With a long list of gifts to be given away at the Christmas eve entertainment in addition to the beautiful new car, you can't afford af-ford to stay at home. If you don't get the car you might get the S10 in cash being offered or a set of Rodger's silverware or any one of the other fine gifts to be given as follows: A G. E. Hot Point dripolator. a beautiful linen tablecloth, 70 by 70 inches, with napkins; an angora all wool blanket; blan-ket; a $5 pair of shoes for man, woman or child; two pairs of fine chiffon or Queen's lace hose; a large Christmas cake; a dozen roses; a 48 pound bag of flour; a 2 dry cleaning order; four gifts of one hair cut each; and a $2.50 box, five pounds of Shupc Williams chocolates. |
