Show VISITORS JOIN IN TIMP HIKE Mrs. M. E. Morton and son Edgar Ed-gar of Wilkie, Sack., Canada, who are visiting in Springville, were among the Timpanogos hikers who received their badges for successfully reaching to top of the mountain peak, during the silver anniversary climb, Saturday. Accustomed to regular hiking and other out-door sports, Mrs. Morton who is 63 years of age experienced little difficulty in making the long mountain climb, and descending by way of the glacier. Had she registered her age upon receiving her badge at the end of the trail, she undoubtedly un-doubtedly would have received the honor of the oldest woman person, making the climb this year. Mrs. Morton praised highly the program given at Aspen Grove and was especially delighted with the rare scenery viewed during the mountain climb. She is vtsit-, vtsit-, ing her daughter, Mrs. Bill , Blanchard and husband here. |
