Show Happenings in The Recreation Activities artist on the stage, for as Shakespeare Shake-speare put it, "All the world's a stage and ail the people are merely players," so for everyday life why shouldn't we learn to play our part in the best pos sible way ? At our last class we had a very outstanding feature Mrs. Christen Jensen gave a very interesting in-teresting discussion on the Greek theater and its importance and its influence upon our modern day literature. We meet every Monday and Thursday night at 8 o'clock in the high school. Wouldn't you like to join us? To help ambitious people make profitable use of their leisure time, along with the summer recreational rec-reational work, a smali group of people headed by Howard Mc-Kenzie Mc-Kenzie and Jessie Dal ton have started a little theater movement. The summer is 'nearly gone now, but it has proved to be so very interesting and educational to the little group which has been steady members, that an effort is going to be made by those few to make it a continuous movement move-ment one that will grow and become widelv-known because of its accomplishments. We of that group send our invitation to all who wish to, to join. If you are ambitious and have a keen desire to become cultured you need not have the desire to especially become an |
