Show Pipe Plant Team To Compete in Salt Lake f.leet Pacific Super Heaters, the Softball team representing the pacific Pipe Plant, has been invited in-vited to play in the Salt Lake Ci-ty junior chamber of commerce tournament tour-nament this Saturday. Four "teams will participate in the tourney, two from Salt Lake, one from Spanish Fork and the Pacific Super Heaters. Representing Salt Lake in the Meet are the Associated Oil and the Zinik teams. The team from Spanish Fork Is the state champion cham-pion Utah-Idaho Sugar ten. The schedule brings together the Associated Oil team and the Super Heaters at 6:30 p. m. and Zinik's and the Utah-Idaho Sugar Su-gar at 7:30. Winners of these games will play at 9:30 for the junior chamber trophy. Preceding the championship game, a game between the Shamrock Sham-rock Girls and the Girl All Stars will be played. Those making the trip for the Super Heaters are: M. Bills, catcher; catch-er; D. Overly, pitcher; Eggei-t-son, first base; Wright,' second base; D. Bills, shortstop; A. Anderson, An-derson, third base; Castleberry, left field; C. Anderson, center field; R. Peters, right field; and Van Leuven, roving freld. The Super Heaters pre at present leading the Provo Recreational Recrea-tional league. |
