Show I! 138 ENTRIES j EXHIBITED AT j ROSE SHOW j ! .The Springville community flow- j er show sponsored by the local ; flower garden association. Tuesday, Tues-day, at Memorial hall was one of i the outstanding events of the ; week. J A total of 138 entries were made consisting of many gorgeous j roses and other flowers. An at- : tractive decorative display also was made by the Springville floral which added much to the attract-ivenes attract-ivenes of the display. Many of the entries were not j awarded ribbons because of not j being acquainted with the rules , governing the entires and in these i some of the most select blossoms ' were seen. Mrs. Elizabeth Bonnell offered I the prizes to the three first J places. ; Sweepstakes was won by Mr?, j Bonnell while Mrs. Bell Childs j came second and Mrs. Harold Allc- man, third. Brown; golden color, Mrs. Lucy ( Roylance; Ophelia roses, Mrs. Sarah Sa-rah Palfrcyman; pink roses, Mrs. j Belle Childs; climbing roses, Mrs. Elizabeth Bonnell; red roses, Mrs. G. W. Mendcnhall; fox glove, ' Mrs. Harold Alleman; Canterbury bells, Mrs. Harold Alleman; del- ; phinium, Mrs. Elizabeth Bonnell; poppies, Mrs. L Preal Friel.
