Show SERVICES HELD FOR W LEE. H.S. STUDENT The Third ward chapel was filled to capacity Wednesday afternoon after-noon when funeral services were held for Robert Edward (Ted) Lee. 17, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Ar-nold Lee of this city, and a prominent prom-inent student at the local high school, who was killed in an automobile auto-mobile accident near Payson, at 1 a. m., Sundayr Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery, under direction of Claudin funeral home. Ted, with a companion, had left their car and gone several rods back to offer assistance to occupants occu-pants of another car accident. Ted was struck by a machine driven by Mr. Ferguson, of Spanish Fork, and hurled 111 feet into a barrow pit. He was killed instantly, sustaining sus-taining a fractured neck . and ether injuries. The young man was born at Mapleton, November 27, 1918, and spent his early boyhood there. He moved with his parents to Springville Spring-ville several years ago. He took an active part in school and social affairs here. He is survived by his parents and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ross Cressall, Salt Lake City; Mrs. Elmer Hanks, Salem; Mrs. Lee Bate, Pine Grove, Calif.; Mrs. Taylor Burt, Ruth, Jane and Jack Lee, Springville. |
