Show Geneology Convention To Be Held Here Sunday i Joseph H. Christonsen. recorder 1 at the Salt Lake temple, and Joseph H. Smith will represent ! the general board at a genealogical genealogi-cal convention to be held at the Spring vine Fourth ward chapel Sunday. announces Secretary Mabel Kindred. Meetings a"e scheduled to be held at 9:30 a. m., at H a. m., and 2 p. m. with the general public and especially the younger people and ward auxiliary officers and bishoprics especially invited to be present. The first meeting will feature a report on the genealogical program by Stake Representative L. K, Harmer. President J. Em met t Bird will give an endorsement of genealogical temple work. The visiting officials will also speak at this meeting. At 11 o'clock a discussion of the genealogical lesson course will be given by the visiting officials. The afternoon meeting will be especially interesting with a demonstration dem-onstration of the lesson course by juniors. Young people between the ages of 12 and 20 years whether or not they are enrolled in the classes are urged to attend. Appropriate musical numbers have also been arranged for the arious meetings. Genealogical workers are asked to be excused from all other church activities Sunday while attending the various vari-ous convention meetings. |
