Show Blood Secures Aid For Farmers SALT LAKE CITY, Aug. 8 (U.H) Governor Henry H. Blood, who returned to Salt Lake City Monday Mon-day after a visit in the east with national farm officials, said the farm security administration may allocate emergency funds to aid drough stricken farmers in ten southern Utah counties. The governor said that fairly I complete reports on conditions in j Utah were in the hand of Secre- tary of Agriculture Henry A. Wallace, Wal-lace, who gave assurance he would extend whatever aid was ; possible. Meanwhile state and federal agencies interested in the drouth problem will meet Thursday in an effort to determine what further action should be taken. A representative of the Associated Asso-ciated Civic Clubs of Southern Utah, which took the initiative to to inform officials of the drouth conditions, will be represented at the meeting. |
