Show LEGION ELECTS OFFICERS AT CANYONj'ARTY At one of the most successful outings of the year, held at Frandscn's ranch in Hobble Creek canyon, the local post American Legion selected candidates for officers to be voted on at the meeting on Wednesday, August 16. as follows: for commander, Paul Frahdsen; First Vice Commander, Com-mander, Marcellus Nielson; Second Sec-ond Vice Commander, John Miller; Mill-er; Adjutant, Harlan Boyer; Chaplain, Leo Robertson; Sar-gent-at-arms, Earl Phillips; Historian, His-torian, Clifton Hall. During the business meeting, at which Commander George Nelson presided, delegates to the state convention at Spanish Fork next week, were named as follows: fol-lows: Paul Frandsen, H. T. Reynolds, Reyn-olds, John Miller, Harlan Boyer, Mlcheal Long, Vith Clifton Hall, LaVar Anderson, Lester Davis, Earl Phillips and Frank Clark, alternates. District Commander George Larson of Spanish Fork, was a special guest at the outing which featured in addition to the business, busi-ness, ball games and a Dutch lunch, with 27 members in attendance. |
