Show SUGAR POLICY IS CRITICIZED OGDEN. Utah, Aug. S (U.E H A. Benning, recently elected Resident of the United States Beet Sugar association,- Monday criticized "the determination of the national administration to favor the sugar producers of Cuba." Benning. vice president and general manager of the Amalgamated Amalga-mated Sugar company of Ogden particularly disliked action of the sugar division of the department of agriculture in suppressing a pamphlet entitled "Sugar Beets and the Sugar Act." "Determination of the administration admin-istration to favor the sugar beets of Cuba to the injury of the domestic industry long has been evident from ruling of the sugar division," Benning-said ."However, this is the first instance in which the division has gone on record for this -policy." |
