Show LOCAL PROJECT GETSJ50.000 l'rovo - Springville Project Is Approved In U. S. Highway Program ! Allocation of funds for the $50,-000 $50,-000 project providing for the widening wid-ening of the state road between Provo and Springville was included includ-ed with the Utah allocation of $750,000, highway and grade crossings, announced today from ' I Washington. The allocations from i the $4,000,000,000 work-relief pro- gram were approved by President j Roosevelt. j The allotments do not have to be i approved by Comptroller-General j John R. McCarl before the money I is actually available. McCarl already has approved expenditure of $200,000,000 fori grade crossing elimination and I $200,000,000 for highway improve- ! ments. j The Provo-Springville project calls for three miles of grading and : structures, on F.
