Show Sportsmen Shown Wild Life "Films , SPRINGVILLE Starting off national wild life week, more than 200 Springville sportsmen turned out Saturday night to see picture slides by Lee Kay, of the state fish and game department, and otjier prominent "wild life" speakers. - - A wild life picture will be shown at a local theater Tuesday. As a climax of the week, a dance has been planned by the sportsmen sports-men for Saturday at Memorial hall. Construction of a wild duck sanctuary on the' east bay of Utah lake is receiving favorable consideration con-sideration toy the game officials, Mr. Kay said. The setup of restricted pheasant pheas-ant hunting areas was explained by William Crump, chief deputy of the state fish and game de-- partment. Affects on farmers and sportsmen were cited. Tom Argyle, game warden, was the other main speaker. In charge of the meeting was Peed Rigtrup, local wild life association asso-ciation president. |
