Show CONSTRUCTION OF SHOW BARN TO BEGIN NOW Permission to begin immediately immediate-ly on construction of a large dairy stock barn in which to house the animals on exhibition at Spring-ville's Spring-ville's first annual dairy stock show scheduled for the first week in May. was given at a city council coun-cil meeting Tuesday night. The barn to be about 24 by 50 feet, with spaces available to house approximately 100 animals, is to be located on the south section sec-tion of the city recreational park, where the show will be held. Dairy men will do most of the work with the cooperation of the city. Other plans are progressing to make the stock show one of major importance in community events. A premium book will be printed to show how tne stock will be classified for judging and other details in connection with the exhibition. ex-hibition. It -is planned to have a competent judge from the U. S. A. C. Logan, to judge the animals ani-mals entered. That the show is receiving attention at-tention from dairy groups in other parts of the state, is evidenced in the fact that inquiries are being made concerning stock to oe entered ent-ered and of stock if any, to be sold. Springville dairymen plan to make the show one of the biggest big-gest events of its kind to be held here annually. -"While cash prizes will not be awarded this year, ribbons rib-bons will be received, and as the event grows it will be possible to increase the number and value of prize awards.
