Show CHAMBER OF C. COMPLETES ORGANIZATION The Springville Chamber of Commerce Monday, filed articles of incorporation at the Utah county clerk's office, in Provo. The cdrporation shall exist for a period of 50 yeai's unless dissolved by laws, the articles stated. The purpose of the organization according to the articles is to promote general prosperity of all varied interests of the state and Utah county; to procure, preserve and disseminate information in relation to commercial, financial and industrial affairs, also to promote pro-mote social relations among associations asso-ciations and to have and maintain a club house. In keeping with the resolutions of the organization, 10,000 art folders are being printed to envelope en-velope insert size, and will be sent by various business men throughout through-out the country advertising the Springville art movement, along with other correspondence. The folders in addition to an invitation in-vitation to the art exhibit, features fea-tures illustrations and facts about the art exhibit. This is "but one and the' beginning begin-ning of movements to foster activities ac-tivities for the betterment of Springville by the new chamber of commerce of which C. G. Salisbury Salis-bury is president. At the meeting: Tuesday night, Harrison Conover was appointed executive secretary of the chamber cham-ber of commerce organization. A tentative list of committeemen was also outlined and' these will be announced next week. |
