Show LEAP YEAR DANCES SET The stake M. I. A. is sponsoring sponsor-ing a Leap Year dance Friday night, at Memorial hall, it was announced an-nounced bv stake officers. A j demonstration of the Jewel dance I will be given under the direction of LaVar Anderson, by representatives represen-tatives from the respective wards of the stake. The public is cordially cor-dially invited to attend and all are promised a good time. The dance is the last of a series of three dance socials sponsored by the stake M. I. A. this season, for the purpose of stimulating social so-cial activity among the M. I. A. membership, and to demonstrate and teach dances suitable to M. I. A. The first two dances were marked with success, both from a social and recreational standpoint. stand-point. What is extiected to be the biggest big-gest event of the season, is the Leap Year ball to be put on by the Art Center Dancing club at the Memorial hall next Saturday night, February 29th. A big, jolly crowd is assured from the fact that tickets held by members of both the first series and the coming series of dances are good for this dance. Also all old members are entitled to the privilege of bringing a guest couple upon payment of 50 cents. All members of the club are especially es-pecially urged to come and bring their guest friends, and make it an event long to be remembered and a happy fitting climax to the most enjoyable series of dances ever held. Tickets for the new series can be secured at the dance. |
