Mrs. Sadie Dalton has returned to Springville after several weeks' visit with her children in California. Califor-nia. Mr. and Mrs. Sol Clyde and family spent Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Vivian park, Provo canyon, can-yon, where they attended the annual an-nual Scott family reunion. Announcement is made of the ! marriage of Kelsey Hill, son of John S. Hill of this city, to Miss Amy Jones, formerly of Springville, Spring-ville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. R. Jones of Salt Lake, which took place Friday in the Salt Lake temple. After a wedding trip to the canyons in southern Utah, the couple plan to make their home in Salt Lake. Mrs. Polly Day came from Elmo, El-mo, Utah, to attend the Black Hawk celebration. She is the guest of her sisters, Mrs. Alfred Weight and Mrs. E. A. Bryan and other relatives here. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wiscombe and family of Roosevelt, former residents of Springville visited friends and relatives here during Black Hawk week. Mr. and Mrs. Alvk Zabrisltie of Soldier Summit were springville spring-ville visitors the past week. , Mr. and Mrs. Lee Snow of Wellington, Well-ington, Utah, spent several days of the past week with friends and relatives in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Jones of Provo wish to announce the birth of a son at Provo Monday. Mrs. Jones was formerly Miss Mildred Ostler, of Springville. Dr. and Mrs. M. D. Bringhurst of Salt Lake visited their mothers Mrs. Frank Bringhurst and Mrs. Eliza Thorn last week. Mrs. Sadie McTavish of Salt Lake, a former Springville resident resi-dent was among the Black Hawk visitors last week. Descendants of Ira and Susan L. Clark Sanford held a family reunion Thursday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sanford, the occasion being the eightieth birthday anniversary of Mrs. Eva |
