Brockbank. after a vnriod and successful experience in Nrho district schools, has been pro-j pro-j moted to the principalship of the local high school, succeeding K. K. Kundsen, who after nine yc;irn as principal of the local high school is transierrcd to Spanish Fork as principal of the junior high school. Mr. Brockbank has Imd 17 years experience in the school room one year as elementary teacher. S years as senior high school teacher and 8 years in Spnn-ish Spnn-ish Fork. He has been on one of the most progressive principals in the district during that period, it in stated. He is an active community man. taking a leading part in politics, in all civic and social activities of the community, and in religious oiganizations as well. He has held many offices of trust in his home town in all branches of public service, according to reports. Mr. Brockbank received his B. A. degree from the B. Y. U. and is at present a candidate for a Master's degree from the University Uni-versity of Southern California. Mr. Brockbank is coming to Springville with the expectation of becoming a full fledged citizen. Among other important changon in the Springville teaching corpn is that of coach. Owen Howe will succeed Paul Thorn in this position. posi-tion. Mr. Rowe comes to the school highly recommended. He has had four years experience and a splendid physical education department de-partment may well be expected through his leadership, it is stated. Howard Bird, one of the out- standing young men of this city, takes the place formerly held by Ned McBcth in the high school faculty. Miss Sumsion haa been one of the outstanding teachers teach-ers at the fifth and sixth grades for a number of years.
