Show I HANS JENSEN . PASSES AWAY Hans Peter Jensen, 87, retired farmer of Mapleton, died Tuesday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Tweede in Spring Lake. Mr. Jensen was born in Allborg, Denmark, June 20, 1844, and came to Utah when he was 27 years of age. He was an active member of the L. D. S. church, and had filled two mlsjions to his native land. Surviving are four sons and' two daughters, as follows: Joseph, Chris and Pete Jensen, Mapleton; Allie Jensen and Mrs. Caroline J. Bissell, Springville: Mrs. Mary E. Tweede, Spring Lake. He also leaves 51 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. grand-children. Funeral services will be held Friday Fri-day at 2 p. m. in the Mapleton wart chapel. The body may be viewed at the Claudin Funeral home in Springville, prior to the services. Interment will' be in the Evergreen cemetery. |
