Show CWA PROGRAM READY TO GO Machinery Set up at Meeting Being Held In Capitol Details of handling the Civil Works administration program in Utah, by which it is expected to place thousands of idle men to work, were discussed at a meeting 1 in the state capitol today. Utah county was represented by Hilton Robertson, J. V. Gillman and Charles H. White, county commissioners and W. Lester Maugum, Utah county relief administrator. ad-ministrator. Mayor Jesse N. El-lertson, El-lertson, City Commissioner J. E. Snyder and City Engineer Elmer A. Jacob are representing Provo city at the gathering. County Is Heady A program calling for more than 8400,000 of make-work projects pro-jects to be undertaken in every city and town in the county wa: in the hands of the county delegation dele-gation ready to be submitted at the meeting which was in charge of R. K. Hinckley, state relief administrator, who recently returned re-turned from the conference in Washington. In the meantime, Salt Lake City and county relief agencies" prepared to put 2500 men to work, Thursday morning with their first pay checks slated for Saturday morning. Details of selecting the workers in Provo and Utah county will be announced promptly on the return re-turn of Mr. Mangum and Uv county commissioners. In Salt Lake City the jobs will be given first to men on the relief rolls, but as the program progresses, it is expected that work will be distributed dis-tributed evenly between men on relief ind those who have applied Cor work through the federal employment em-ployment agency.
