Show FORMER LOCAL INSURANCE MAN IS PROMOTED D. Ford Crandall, assistant district dis-trict manager of the Metropolitan Life Insurance company in Ogden, has been promoted to the post of manager of the Boise district, according ac-cording to announcement Saturday Satur-day by John E. Velton, manager of the Ogden district. Mr. Crandall will assume his new duties in Idaho, November 27. Mr. Crandall was born in Springville in 1899. He attended the Springville' public schools and was graduated from Brigham Young university. He served as a lieutenant for a year during the World war, and later fulfilled a mission for the L. D. S. church as conference president lor the eastern east-ern states. Upon returning from his mission he associated himself with the Metropolitan Life Insurance company com-pany as agent in Provo and Springville, later being transferred to the Ogden district as agent. He was made assistant manager there in 1929. Mr. Crandall is married and is the father of three children. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Crandall of Springville. |
